Free Consultations • We begin with an initial consultation (all consultations are free) via e-mail, by phone or in person if you are located in the Darwin or rural areas. At this stage we work out the objectives of your business or organisation and then review the products, services, information or resources you have to offer. We will also evaluate the need for your own domain name and your web hosting options if you don't already have one. (If you are connected to the internet, your ISP Provider will more than likely have provided you with a small amount of free web space. We can use this but there is a good chance that pop up's will appear throughout your site which can be very annoying for your cistomers). Which ever way you choose, I will provide you with a plan that summarises the objectives of your website and outlines the content and navigational structure. |

Review existing material • At this point I will evaluate the source for the content of your website. The more content you provide to us the cheaper your website will be. |

Developement of the web site •Based on the plan, I can proceed to the actual design and construction of your website. I can use graphic material you provide to me and I can create graphics and logos, even animate text and logos for you. Included in the creation of all my websites at Northern Web Technologies is the appropriate use of HTML Meta tags, Search Engine Optimisation and effectively presented text, which will help your website get high listings in the search engines. This is critical in getting traffic to your website and can be the difference between success or failure. So many websites don't have this and they wonder why their customers can't find them. |

Compatibility •
The same web page can look very different through different browsers. Even different versions of the same browser can change the appearance of a web page. I will view your website through several of the most popular versions. At this point you can review your website and request any changes you would like me to make. I want you to be happy with my work. |

| Upload
and Test •
The final step is to upload the initial version of the website to your Internet Service Provider (ISP). We will thoroughly test it in order to validate all HTML, hyperlinks, e-mail addresses, forms, buttons, Java script etc. work properly and test browser compatibility, screen width and colours.
